What is the D47P form?

DVLA will send you an application for renewal of lorry and bus entitlement (D47PU) form 56 days before your driving licence runs out. Its free to renew or change your lorry or bus licence. Youll need to follow the process for drivers 45 and over if your licence runs out within 56 days of your 45th birthday.

What is the D2 form?

The D2 form is the licence application form you complete to get the provisional entitlement to drive the vehicle of your choice as a learner. Tick both C and D category as this will save you time and money in the future if you ever change your mind.

Can you print a D47P form?

Unlike some other forms, the DVLA does not provide a PDF version of the D47P form for download. The DVLA will mail it to you, and you cannot print it from the internet. However, if you prefer to fill it out digitally or need a D47P form for reference, the DVLA will send it to you by post.
