An LBD or On-Premise Consumption license allows an establishment to sell and dispense alcoholic beverages that contain an alcoholic content eight percent (8%) or greater by weight, for example, liquor, wine and high gravity beer. Wine-only licenses are available for eligible restaurants.
Beer Permit for On-Premise There is a $250 non-refundable application fee and a yearly beer privilege tax of $100 due each January 1.
A Server Permit (On-Premise Permit) is required to serve liquor, wine and high gravity beer at an establishment that holds an On-Premise Consumption License (Liquor-by-the-Drink License). If issued prior to January 1, 2025, server permits are valid for (5) years from the date of issuance.
They will do a background check. You will need the RLPS number, e.g. (23A-MPER-SER-0000) before you take the server permit class. How long does it take to get my server permit? Once you have completed and passed this course it will take about two (2) business days to get your server permit.
