To apply for on-campus housing: Log into my. fiu. Select Apply for Fall 2024 and Spring 2025 Housing The contract is for the Fall 2024/Spring 2025 semesters. Follow the directions on the online application. You will receive an email confirmation that your housing agreement has been submitted to your PanthedocHub.

Are freshman guaranteed housing at FIU?

Campus residency is not required nor guaranteed to Florida International University students. Therefore, it is important for students to submit housing agreements early. No student is guaranteed on‐campus housing.

How do I get out of my FIU housing contract?

Terms of cancellation Students will not be released from their agreement for financial, dietary or non-emergency medical reasons. However, students may request a housing agreement cancellation under certain conditions (documentation required): The student withdraws from the university or does not enroll in classes.

Does FIU require you to live on campus?

First year students at FIU are not required to live on campus. But we do encourage the on campus living experience. Are transfer and/or graduate students eligible for campus housing? Transfer students are eligible to live on campus and nearby in the off-campus student housing properties.
