Point ranges identify the levels that exhibitors and horses are eligible for when competing at AQHA shows. Owners and exhibitors can view the 2024 point ranges and compare their show record for an approximation of the levels they will be eligible for in the 2024 show season.

A full drape rein is not recommended, and light contact is encouraged. A horse that can also smoothly transition from one gait to the next will be rewarded.
You should have good control of the walk, trot and lope, and also be able to show off some speed variations, such as extension at these three gaits. Judges are also looking at the actual transitions to see how changes between the various gaits are performed.
