How does CHM work?

CHM uses your monthly gifts (kind of like the premiums youre used to sending to health insurance companies) to fund coverage of all members eligible medical bills. Every time a CHM member submits a bill for cost sharing, the ministrys independent board of directors reviews the bill for eligibility.

What is CHM senior share?

With Gold status, the SeniorShare program covers costs that are unpaid by Medicare up to $125,000 per illness. This includes inpatient or outpatient care, medical testing, physical therapy, and home healthcare visits. CHM also offers a Brothers Keeper add-on program for an additional $22/month.

Does CHM cover pre existing conditions?

CHM Gold and CHM SeniorShare members can receive assistance with medical bills for maintained pre-existing conditions ing to the following schedule: In the first year of membership, bills incurred for a pre-existing condition are eligible for sharing up to $15,000.

How do I quit CHM?

You as a member may cancel your Christian Healthcare Ministries (CHM) membership at any time by calling the Member Services department at 1-800-791-6225, ext. 5993.

How do I submit a bill to CHM?

Along with your forms, submit your itemized bills to CHM as soon as you receive them. An itemized bill contains: 1) the patients name; 2) the date of service; 3) the place of service; 4) the procedural (CPT) codes (or description of services rendered); 5) an itemized list of charges.
