The Ports are part of 7th Inning Stretch, LLC, an ownership group that also owns and operates the Delmarva Shorebirds (Class A-Affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles) and the Everett AquaSox (Class A Short Season Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners).
History. In 1846, the first cargo boat ascended the San Joaquin River. In 1848, John Doak established the first ferry service on the river, and the first freight vessel, the sloop Maria, visited Stockton.
