This course consists of combined classroom (including a 3 hour or 5 hour e-Course depending on the class you choose) and on-cycle instruction. Successful completion of this course fulfills the requirements of the State-approved Basic Rider Course for licensing.
Owners not only need to register their motorcycles, get a state plate and purchase insurance, but they also need to have a motorcycle endorsement on their Connecticut drivers license.
If you already have a valid Rhode Island drivers license, the process of obtaining a motorcycle license begins with completing a motorcycle safety course offered by the Community College of Rhode Island. Upon completing the course, you can apply for a motorcycle permit from the DMV.
