Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) is an evaluation of your academic performance. Click here to review the SAP policy: . SAP is checked at the end of each spring term and will set your status for the upcoming summer, fall and spring terms.
PROCEDURE FOR ACADEMIC AMNESTY AT MIAMI DADE COLLEGE (MDC) Academic amnesty is a process by which MDC students may request that their entire academic record prior to a specified term that is at least ten years old, be excluded from cumulative grade point average calculations at MDC.
Your grade point average may range from 0.0 to a 4.0. Please use the GPA Calculator to determine your GPA.
MDC will award credit only for courses with passing grades (i.e., A, B, C, and other grades considered passing by the issuing institution such as S and P) applicable to the students degree/certificates. MDC may award credit for courses with D grades if applicable towards the students program of study.
However, if a student fails a class, or if a program requires a higher grade than the one achieved in a particular class, that class may be repeated and certified again. If a course is required for graduation, a student may repeat the course and be certified for that course until it is successfully completed.
