Federal law requires any person who applies or supervises the use of restricted use pesticides (RUPs) to be certified in ance with EPA regulations and state, territorial and tribal laws. Pesticide applicators must know how to apply RUPs properly and effectively.

The questions and corresponding answers may or may not appear on the exam you will be given. The actual test is only 50 questions.
Apply for the license with fee to TDA: PA-401 and $200 license fee for commercial applicators or noncommercial applicators or $75 license fee for noncommercial political subdivision applicators. Pass the TDA general exam, Pass TDAs laws and regulations exam, Pass TDAs ornamental plant and turf pest control exam.
