What is Teleconnect fund?

The California Teleconnect Fund (CTF) program provides a 50% discount on advanced communication services (including Internet access and broadband services) to qualifying schools, libraries, community colleges, government-owned hospitals/health clinics, and community-based organizations.

Who is eligible for CTF?

A parent may just want to set up a simple bare trust arrangement so they can hold assets of their childrens behalf until they are 18. This will usually be done whenever parents open bank accounts for their children and act as trustees.

What is the Teleconnect Fund Surcharge?

The current CTF surcharge rate is 0.59%.

Who qualifies for CTF?

What organizations qualify for CTF discounts on their advanced telecommunications services? Schools, libraries, government-owned hospitals and health clinics, California Community Colleges, 2-1-1 referral providers, and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs).
