Yes, narrators in ACX are open to Indians. However, there are some requirements that Indian narrators must meet in order to participate in ACX, such as having a mailing address, valid local Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), and banking details in the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, or Ireland.

Is ACX connected to Amazon?

Yes, ACX is part of Audible, and Audible is a subsidiary of Amazon.

How long is an ACX contract?

The only way a RH can ever break an RS/RS+ contract with the narrator is to pull the book. (Refer to the section titled Contract Language in this article.) Per the ACX blog article linked above, the RH cannot pull the book before the end of the 7-year distribution term without the narrators consent.

How long does it take to get an audiobook approved by ACX?

In most cases, titles that meet our ACX Audiobook Submission Requirements and that are submitted with retail-ready cover art, audio, and product information will be posted for retail on Audible, Amazon, and iTunes approximately 10-14 business days after they are submitted to ACX.
