The Reduced-Fare Program is available to people 65 years of age and older and people with qualifying disabilities (the Reduced-Fare Program), and is managed by MTA New York City Transit Authority (NYCT).
Anyone currently enrolled in the discount fare program can request an OMNY card, or wait until the next time they renew their enrollment to receive one. Eventually, Fair Fares participants will be able to apply their discount to banks cards, mobile devices and other tap-to-pay options.
You can apply in person at: Customer Service Centers at select subway stations. They are located in accessible stations and open 24/7. Our Customer Service Center at 3 Stone St in Lower Manhattan on weekdays. Mobile Sales vehicles when they visit your neighborhood.
