The National Guard discharge document is known as NGB-22 and you wont get credit for serving in the Guard without it. Members of the National Guard are not required to complete NGB Form 22. But they will need to sign it when theyre discharged. If youve lost your form (or you never received one), youll need to contact the National Guard Adjutants Office for your particular state.
