Additional eligibility qualifications for CCHT include proof of the number of hours spent as a hemodialysis technician (a minimum of six months or 1,000 hours). The CCHT certification exam costs $225, comprises 150 questions, and needs to be completed in 180 minutes or less.
How long is a CCHt certification good for?
The initial certification is effective for three years from the last day of the month in which the applicant passed the examination. Certification must be renewed every three years.
