If you submit on behalf of an non-enrolled student they will be unable to view the submission, even after you have added them to the class. Papers you submit for non-enrolled students can be graded, but the student wont be able to access the feedback as it wont be linked to a Turnitin account.
The assignment settings may be preventing you from submitting your paper. If the due date has passed and your assignment does not allow for late submissions, you will not be able to submit. If you are attempting to resubmit, it is possible that your assignment settings only allow for one submission per student.
You are allowed three resubmission attempts where the Similarity Report will generate immediately. After three attempts, youll have to wait 24 hours before a new Similarity Report can be generated. Resubmission attempts are shared between you and your instructor.
Any resubmissions will overwrite the previously uploaded file. If resubmission by overwrite has been enabled or an instructor has deleted the student users first submission, resubmitting a paper is handled in an identical manner as a first time submission to an assignment.
Turnitin allows you to resubmit 3 times, and then you must wait 24 hours. If you make a resubmission, you will see this message: You have already submitted a paper to this assignment and a Similarity Report was generated for your submission.
