You must have the CRC on your person while fishing. There is no fee for those 14 years old and younger, but they are required to have a CRC.
The catch record card is an important management tool for estimating the recreational catch of salmon, steelhead, sturgeon, halibut and Puget Sound Dungeness crab. The law requires that a catch record card must be in your possession when you are fishing for these species.
There is a fee associated with getting your ID, so you will need to bring a form of payment as well. It costs $54 to get an ID card, which is valid for six years before it must be renewed. It costs $20 to replace a lost or stolen ID card.
A food worker card cost $10. Once you have a food worker card, we recommend that you keep the original and provide a copy to your employer.
License fees: Resident one day fresh/salt/combo $11.35, Non-Resident $20.15, catch record cards are free BUT must be requested at time of purchase. You will be able to print a temporary license from home after you purchase online. You will NOT be able to receive a catch record online.
