The Assignment List(s) (ICS 204) informs Division and Group supervisors of incident assignments. Once the Command and General Staffs agree to the assignments, the assignment information is given to the appropriate Divisions and Groups. Preparation.
Purpose. The Activity Log (ICS 214) records details of notable activities at any ICS level, including single resources, equipment, Task Forces, etc. These logs provide basic incident activity documentation, and a reference for any after- action report.
The Assignment List Attachment form (ICS 204A-CG) shows more specific instructions for specific resources if needed. This form may be used to support ICS-204-CGs for the Operations Section or the Intelligence/Investigations Section. A separate sheet is used for each Division or Group.
This course was developed by the U.S. Fire Administrations National Fire Programs Branch, in partnership with the Federal Emergency Management Agencys Emergency Management Institute, the U.S. Department of Agriculture and the NWCG. Estimated completion time: 4 hours.
