What is IGETC certification?
Major preparation requirements can be accessed at .assist.org, the official source for California articulation and student transfer information. The IGETC is NOT an admission requirement to the UC or CSU system.
Do you need to complete IGETC to transfer to a UC?
IGETC courses must be completed with a grade of C or better. A grade of credit or pass may be used if the community colleges policy states that it is equivalent to a grade of C or better.
