New for Fall 2018 registration, you may submit your immunization records remotely through the Student Health Portal. You may also obtain a copy of your immunization records through this portal.
Immunization: A process by which a person becomes protected against a disease through vaccination. This term is often used interchangeably with vaccination or inoculation.
Examples include tetanus, diphtheria, mumps, measles, pertussis (whooping cough), meningitis, and polio. Many of these infections can cause serious or life-threatening illnesses and may lead to life-long health problems. Because of vaccines, many of these illnesses are now rare.
Some states, colleges, and universities require meningococcal vaccination for certain students, unless the students provide a vaccination waiver. These requirements can include meningococcal conjugate (MenACWY) vaccines, serogroup B meningococcal (MenB) vaccines, or both.
