What is the VAF4A Form? You need to complete Appendix 2 of VAF4A Form if you wish to apply for a Spouse Visa or enter the UK as: The spouse or civil partner of someone settled in the UK. The child of a parent who is applying or have applied already for leave to remain in the UK as a partner of a British settled person.
A successful application under Appendix FM will generally result in a grant of leave to enter for 33 months or leave to remain for 30 months. During that time the person is allowed to work but cannot access public funds that is, they cannot claim benefits unless they request an exception due to destitution.
