The image types allowed for attachments are pre-defined in the Image Fields. Always check the upload modal to confirm supported formats and avoid errors during the signing process. In DocHub, you can add the following image formats to your paperwork:

When you sign a PDF with BMP attachments, the images are safely embedded to your form. After signing, they remain accessible to all document recipients.
You can easily modify your .bmp attachments by clicking on the Image Field. In the “Edit Image” dialog window, select “Create New Image” to add a new visual file, or “Reset Field” to remove the one you attached. This allows you to handle the content embedded in your PDF before signing it.
Yes, you can remove incorrectly embedded images before you complete your document. Just click on the corresponding image field and select the “Reset Field” option to delete your attachment.
While DocHub generally provides secure document handling, the reliability of signing a PDF with .bmp attachments depends on the source of those files. For maximum security, ensure your device is up to date and scrutinize the images' source before uploading them or endorsing a PDF with pictures embedded by other signers.
Once you upload your document and sign in to Acrobat online, you can add your signature to a PDF by following these steps: In the Sign panel, select Add signature. The panel will ask you to click Image, then Select image. You can browse for an image of your handwritten signature.
To sign a document using docHub Reader, first open the PDF document in the docHub Reader DC application. Click the Fill Sign button in the right pane. Click the Sign button on the toolbar and select Add Signature to add your signature to docHub Reader DC.
