Does Delta Airlines provide oxygen?
Delta no longer provides compressed medical oxygen. However, Delta does allow you to use approved Portable Oxygen Concentrators (POC) with at least 48 hours advance notice. Personal oxygen systems containing liquid oxygen are not accepted on any Delta or Delta Connection flights.
Can you fly on a plane with an oxygen tank?
Due to safety reasons, the FAA prohibits travelers from carrying their own partially or completely filled oxygen tank or liquid oxygen tank aboard commercial aircraft. However, the FAA does permit passengers to bring empty personal oxygen cylinders on board or as checked baggage.
Does a CPAP machine count as a personal item on Delta?
Under the Americans with Disabilities Act, a CPAP machine is not considered carry-on luggage and does not count toward your carry-on quota. You are allowed a carry-on bag, a personal bag such as a purse or briefcase, and your CPAP machine in its traveling case.
Can you take an oxygen concentrator on a plane?
