Hizentra is a sterilized solution made from human plasma. It contains the antibodies to help your body protect itself against infection from various diseases. Hizentra subcutaneous injection(for injection under the skin) is used to treat primary immunodeficiency diseases.

The median infusion time based on the clinical trials was about 1.5\u20132 hours for PI, and about 1 hour for CIDP. Your infusion time may be shorter or longer, depending on the dose and frequency your healthcare provider has prescribed for you.
