Notices must be served on the person responsible for the nuisance, or, if that person cannot be identified, on the owner or occupier of the premises. The notice must specify the nature of the nuisance and the steps required to abate it, as well as a compliance timeframe.
ABATEMENT: The removal, stoppage, prostration, or destruction of that which causes or constitutes a nuisance, whether by breaking or pulling it down, or otherwise destroying, or effacing it.
