Does the N9 form require a signature?
N9 will not be valid if its not signed by all leaseholders. The other tenant can sign outside the box, thats not an issue. Depending on your lease, if your landlord allows one tenant to move out then you can sign and make sure your name is removed from the lease.
What is the difference between N9 and N11?
There is absolutely no difference in this process had you served an N9 or mutually signed an N11. The timing and process for everything is the same.
What is the difference between a N11 and a N9 form?
An N9 is what the TT gives to the LL with 60 days notice outside of the lease term. An N11 is a form when the LL and TT mutually agree to a move out date and can be given by either party, inside, or outside, of a lease term. N9 a tenant serves on you to say they are leaving in 60 days.
