Microchips are a form of identification used to help reunite lost pets with their families. It is a small chip, around the size of a grain of rice, inserted underneath your dog or cats skin between the shoulder blades. We use EIDAP microchips, which are connected to the worldwide EIDAP database.

Find out your pets microchip number If you dont already have your pets microchip number, give your veterinarian a call or bring your pet to the vet! You can also bring your pet to animal control, animal shelters or an adoption agency (if you adopted from a specific rescue) to get their chip scanned.

Can a magnet erase a pet microchip?
Finding your pets microchip manufacturer is simple. If you have access to the documentation from the microchip procedure, the number and manufacturer should be listed. If you do not have access to the documentation, a veterinarian or animal shelter can scan the pet to retrieve the microchip number.
