International pharmacists may obtain a license to practice pharmacy in the U.S. through one of two ways: Taking the Foreign Pharmacy Graduate Equivalency Examination (FPGEC) and completing the requirements of the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy.

Can you take the NAPLEX without going to pharmacy school?

To sign up for your exam, please visit the California State Board of Pharmacy website. Send the board a filled-out and signed CPJE application form. The board will then process and validate the information you submitted. If you are missing any necessary information, the board will send you a deficiency notice.
