AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) helps ensure that people living with HIV and AIDS in California, who are uninsured or under-insured, have access to medication. ADAP pays the prescription costs for medication on the ADAP Formulary for eligible individuals.
Arizona Rx Card is a free statewide prescription assistance program designed to help the residents of Arizona afford their prescription medications. Arizona Rx Card launched November 2009 and is available to every resident of Arizona regardless of age or income.
The legislation has been reauthorized four times since - in 1996, 2000, 2006, and 2009 - and is now called the Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program. The program provides HIV/AIDS medical and support services to people living with the disease that cannot afford treatment, are uninsured or under-insured.
ADAP HELPS PEOPLE WITH HIV GET THEIR MEDICATIONS. ADAP is available to people with HIV who are Arizona residents and meet income qualification, and whose insurance does not cover all of their medication costs. It helps people with HIV get their HIV-related medications at little to no cost.
