The college was closed due to provincial government cutbacks in the 1993 budget. It closed in the spring of 1994. The college originally provided diplomas in Agricultural Business Management, Animal Health Technology, Food Service Management, and Home Economics.
Most colleges with 100% acceptance rates are considered open admission and accept all students. These include the College of Staten Island CUNY and the University of Maryland Global. The highest college acceptance rate below 100% is the University of Mississippi at 98%, which also boasts a 68% graduation rate.
