Our pathologists report their diagnosis to your referring doctor. Routine test results are generally available within 2 to 3 days of collection, in readiness for your hospital stay. In some instances, they will also consult with your doctor about your final diagnosis.
View your test results using your NHS App or account You can view test results in your GP health record using the NHS App or by logging into your account on the NHS website. You can create an account if you do not already have one. To view your test results online, you must be: registered with a GP surgery.
Another fast method is for your GP to contact pathology provider Clinipath. With your consent, the laboratory will send the result electronically to your GP and into your medical records directly, without printing and scanning. Alternatively you can use the form below.
Pathology results are automatically uploaded to My Health Record. If you do not have My Health Record, you can also request your results by filling in an online form here. For more information, please call our Results and Enquiries team on (08) 9371 4340.
Patients can sign up to access their completed lab results online at the MyResults Patient Portal. Test results will be available in the portal once they are finalized in the laboratory. Patients will receive an email notifying them when results are available in the portal.
