Its OK to wear a hat to a funeral as long as the hat is clean and formal. No baseball caps or knitted caps should be worn to funerals. The hat should be a dress hat, such as one that is part of a military uniform, or a more formal style such as a fedora (for men) or Derby (women).

Torn or ripped jeans, short shorts or bare midriffs will not be allowed in any area. d. Proper footwear will always be worn e. Members will be responsible for their guests dress and deportment.

Can a woman keep her hat on in church?

Traditionally, in our culture, women are allowed, even encouraged, to wear hats or other head coverings in church, but, out of respect, men should take them off unless they are vestments being worn for the liturgy (a bishops mitre, for example) when they are inside (at least in the sanctuary, especially during mass).

Can a woman wear a hat in a legion?

Many Canadian households observe this custom and the Legions are no different. So when you come to the Legion, we kindly suggest that you remove your hat if possible. If for some reason you wish to wear it, please feel free to do so and make it known to your server or management.
