Transfers. We will gladly accept transfers from online or out-of-state sales for a fee of $50 per firearm. In addition to the $50 transfer fee, Washington State has recently enacted guidelines that require sales tax be collected from all out of state firearm transfers.

Yes. Washington state law does allow for private firearms sales. However, these sales must be done through a Federal Firearms License holder in the form of a Private Party Transfer, and all applicable background checks must be completed before the buyer may take possession of the firearm.

What is the form for transfer ownership of a firearm?

Generally, ATF Form 4473 must be completed at the licensed business premises when a firearm is transferred over-the-counter.

Can you transfer gun ownership in Washington state?

State law requires that private sales and transfers of firearms (those that dont involve a federally licensed dealer as a party to the transaction) be completed through a licensed dealer.
