Your first payment Youll be asked when you want to start getting your State Pension when you claim. Your first payment will be no later than 5 weeks after the date you choose. Youll get a full payment every 4 weeks after that. You might get part of a payment before your first full payment.
When can I draw my armed forces pension?
AFPS 75 preserved pensions are payable at age 60 for pensions earned up to and including 5 April 2006, and age 65 for pension earnings after that date. AFPS 05 and RFPS preserved pensions are payable age 65.
