Watches are often banned in exams for several reasons: Cheating Prevention: Some modern watches, especially smartwatches, can connect to the internet or store information, making them potential tools for cheating. Banning them helps maintain the integrity of the examination process.
You are allowed to bring watches, as long as you leave them in your lockers. And your testing center will have clocks in the locker area. If not, just ask politely for the time.
Also, test-takers who have disabilities that are commonly cited cannot assume that they will automatically be granted accommodations on test day. For example, additional testing time (50% or 100%) is probably one of the more common GMAT ADHD accommodations.
Access to telephones, mobile phones, other electronic devices, watches, books, notes, or study guides will not be permitted at the test center at any time, including during the test session and during the breaks. If you need to check the time, ask the test administrator and/or check the clock in the check-in area.
Light sweater or light non-outerwear jacket. Permitted comfort items, subject to visual inspection by the test administrator. If you would like to bring an item into the test center that is not on the permitted comfort items list, please submit an accommodation request.
