2. Begin by entering your rank, name, height (to the nearest 0.50 inch), and weight (to the nearest pound) in the designated fields.
3. Measure your neck just below the larynx, rounding up to the nearest 0.50 inch. Repeat this measurement three times and enter the average in the appropriate field.
4. Next, measure your abdomen at the level of your navel, rounding down to the nearest 0.50 inch. Again, repeat this three times and record the average.
5. Calculate and enter the circumference value by subtracting your average neck measurement from your average abdominal measurement.
6. Enter your height in inches to the nearest 0.50 inch in its respective field.
7. Refer to Figure B-1 for Percent Fat Estimation for Men using your circumference value and height to find and enter your percent body fat.
8. Check all applicable boxes regarding compliance with Army standards and provide signatures where required.
