Ponderosa High School opened its doors as the home of the Mustangs in January of 1983. Ponderosas first cardinal and gold graduating class was in 1984. From the beginning to the spring of 1992, Ponderosa had grades 10, 11, and 12 with 1000 to 1100 students each year.
I am excited to introduce myself as the new Athletic Director of Ponderosa High School. My name is Jordan Ivey and I am coming from Castle View High School where I was a Dean of Students and Assistant Activities and Athletic Director.
It has 1,402 students in grades 9-12 with a student-teacher ratio of 18 to 1.
