How to Apply You must call the Office of the Public Defender at 215-348-6473 and schedule an appointment for a telephone interview. You must complete and submit an online application and attach all financial documentation prior to your appointment date.
Intake: Defendants must apply in person at the Public Defenders office. Client interviews are conducted Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. until 3:45 p.m. Every applicant must bring a copy of their charges and verification of income or support.
