Striving to provide its local leagues and communities with a Little League experience that offers additional opportunities to play, while maintaining the fun and integrity of the neighborhood program, the dual rostering concept affords a Little Leaguer® the ability to play on multiple teams in the same season.
Definition. A club's 26-man roster is its full roster of active Major League players from Opening Day through Aug. 31, and during the postseason. Teams are limited to carrying 13 pitchers during this time.
For most divisions, Tournament teams include a maximum of fourteen (14) players, one manager, and two coaches.
High school baseball rosters have no set limits but usually contain 14-20 players. Meanwhile, youth baseball teams tend to have 11-15 players. Little League Baseball is one exception, mandating that teams at most age divisions carry between 12 and 15 players.
If the local/host league has opted to allow games to start or continue with eight (8) players, then the game can continue. If the local League has adopted the option under Rules 4.16, 4.17, and 6.05(n) to continue the game with at least eight (8) players, then the reason for the leaving is immaterial.

PLAYERS & COACHES: 1. Each team consists of at least nine players and a coach or an adult designated by the coach. 2. A team must field at least 7 players from their original roster, ten minutes after the scheduled game time or forfeit the game.
In the summer months leading up to the Little League World Series, held each year in August, Little Leagues around the world select an All-Star team made up of players from its league.
(2) No Coach Vote; All Automatic: Each team is awarded an automatic number of selections based on the team's final standings in league play (Example, first place team gets 3; second place team gets 2, etc). Each coach then names the athletes to fill the allotted slots with no vote by the other coaches.
Plan C. This option is commonly referred to as a \u201cblind draft.\u201d Local leagues start by placing the names of all 12-year-olds into a container. Then each manager selects a player from the container until all league age 12-year-olds are taken.
The draft rotation follows the reverse order of finish from the previous season, with the last place team's manager receiving the first pick. For example, in a four-team league, the team that finished last in the previous season would get the 1st, 8th, 9th, and 16th picks through the first four rounds.
