The purpose of the Victim Impact Panel (VIP) program is to help drunk and drugged driving offenders recognize and internalize the lasting and long-term effects of substance-impaired driving.
The online class is $65 (you pay with a credit card at the end of the class to get your certificate).
The main goals of a victim impact panel include to: give the victims a voice to share their feelings and experiences, make DWI offenders aware of how serious their crime was, and. raise awareness for drunk driving, victims of impaired driving, and the prevention of driving under the influence of alcohol.
You will need $25.00 cash. We do not accept checks, money orders or credit cards. How long does it take? The panel usually takes about an hour to an hour and a half.
The Victim Impact Panel is an awareness program for offenders convicted of a misdemeanor for driving under the influence of alcohol or other drugs. The panel presents a unique perspective to the offender that is often overlooked or simply cannot be taught by the courts and the DUI offender.
