How long does it take to get ITAR registered?

There are no set time limits for export license approvals but normally an ITAR license will take about 60 days and an Agreement will require 90 days to be approved. Commerce and Treasury Department approvals should be expected to take approximately the same amount of time.

How long does DDTc registration take?

(a) An intended registrant must submit a Department of State form DS-2032 (Statement of Registration) to the Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance by following the submission guidelines available on the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls Web site at .pmddtc.state.gov.

How much does it cost to register with DDTC?

As of January 9, 2025, new registration fees and other amendments to part 122 made by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC) in final rule 89 FR 99081, Dec. 10, 2024, are in effect. Effective January 9, 2025, first-time registrants will pay the $3000 Tier 1 fee to register with DDTC.

How much does it cost to become ITAR compliant? Companies must register with the Office of Defense Trade Controls Compliance (DTCC) to become ITAR compliant. The application fee is $2,250 for first time registrants. Renewal fees range between $2,250 and $2,750 per year.
