What is a Taft-Hartley?
The Taft-Hartley Act, enacted in 1947, limits the activities and power of labor unions and requires them to disclose financial and political activities. It introduced key amendments to the Wagner Act of 1935, extending protections against unfair labor practices from employers to also include unions.
How to submit a Taft-Hartley?
How are Taft-Hartley reports submitted? Taft-Hartley reports must be completed and submitted directly to SAG-AFTRA by the signatory producer or casting director within 15 days from the performers work date. Taft-Hartley reports submitted by the performer will not be accepted.
