Click on the Options button next to Headers and footers. In the Headers and footers options, select the Page numbers checkbox. Choose the desired position for the page numbers, such as Top left, Top center, Top right, Bottom left, Bottom center, or Bottom right.
Follow the steps below to add page numbers to your PDF in Adobe Acrobat Pro. Open your PDF and click on the Edit PDF icon. In the secondary toolbar at the top, click Header Footer then click on Add. In the dialog box that appears, select your desired settings for the position, style, and appearance of the page numbers.
Select Tools Edit PDF Add Header + Footer Add. In the top bar, youll have the option to choose the location of your page numbers within the header or footer. Youll have the option to choose your preferred formatting options, including font choice, size and odd/even numbering on your document.
Click the Page More button and select the Page Label option in the drop-down menu. Set the Page Range and Page Numbering style/prefix as you want in the pop-up window. Click the Apply button to add the page labels.
