If inserting a watermark on some pages causes it to disappear on others, try using a custom watermark to put the watermark on all pages. Tip: If you already have a watermark, remove it, or youll have two on the same page. Go to Design Watermark Custom Watermark.
The PDF Converter comes with comprehensive watermarking facilities. However, sometimes a watermark may not be displayed. The most common reason for this is that by default watermarks are displayed in the background, behind the documents content.
Go to the Sejda Watermark PDF website. Click Upload PDF files and select the PDF documents from your local computer. Or you can choose to upload files from Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Web Address by expanding the drop-down menu. Dragging and dropping files to the page also works.

Make PDF Background Transparent Click on the Edit tab, then select Background and choose Edit Background from the drop-down menu. Now a window pops up, and you need to click the Pencil-like icon to edit the background. Then you can customize the background. Select 0% in the Opacity option.
Choose Document Watermark Add. Specify the watermark: To reuse a watermark and watermark options that you saved in an earlier session, select it from the Saved Settings menu. To create a text watermark, select Text, and type the text in the box.
Create a custom watermark Click the preceding tool to display the Watermarks panel. Click Create. Give your watermark a title in the Title box. In the Type list, select its type: Text, Image or Composite. Click OK to save the new watermark.
Use the slider or edit box to define a value between 0 (fully transparent) and 100 (fully opaque). PDF/A files cannot interpret this setting, and watermarks appear at full strength (100).
Try saving your PDF as a PDF/X-4 before adding your watermark (File Save as Format PDF/X-4). If that doesnt work, try PDF/X-1a. Also, I suggest you set your Acrobat page display preference for overprint preview to Always. As a last resort, use a Preflight Fixup to flatten the PDF, then add your watermark.
Create a Custom Watermark to Begin Click Create in the Watermark pane to open the creation dialog box. Use the options in this dialog to create custom text, change the text orientation and adjust other options. Name your new watermark. Select the type of watermark that you want to create.
