Use the Document Inspector to Remove Hidden Data To open the Document Inspector, click File > Info > Check for Issues > Inspect Document. The PowerPoint Document Inspection window shown below opens up. Click Inspect to identify hidden content, and click Remove All to remove the item of your choice.
How to Remove Identifying Information Go to “File” Select “Info” Click on “Check for issues” Click on “Inspect document” In the “Document Inspector” dialog box, select the check boxes to choose the types of hidden content that you want to be inspected. Click “Remove All” Click “Close” Save the document.
Select Check for Issues > Inspect Document. Select the types of content that you want to inspect, and then select Inspect. Review the results. For each type of content that you want to remove from the document, select Remove All.
Remove personal information for a PDF Right click the PDF, select Open with and then Google Chrome. Select the printing symbol in the upper right corner of the tab that opened in Google Chrome. Set Destination to Save as PDF and click Save. The PDF that you now saved will not contain any personal information.
Remove personal information from a document On the Word menu, click Preferences. Under Privacy options, select the Remove personal information from this file on save check box. Save the document.
Click File > Info > Remove Personal Information. Click the Personal Information tab.
Delete something from the template, such as a picture or text box, either by clicking it or highlighting it by dragging the cursor and then pressing the “Delete” key on the keyboard. You can also delete by right-clicking and selecting “Delete.”
Delete a template part from a form template Open the form template that contains the template part that you want to delete. On the form template, select the template part. Note: Template parts always appear inside section controls. Press DELETE. The template part is deleted from the view.
Identifying and Removing Metadata Right-click on the file. View its Properties. If there is metadata that you would like to remove, select the Details tab. Click Remove Properties and Personal Information.
To simply remove an embedded file or object, select it and press Delete. To verify the issue is resolved, click File > Info > Check for Issues, and click Inspect Document.
