Today we are discussing three object methods: seal, freeze, and prevent extensions. These methods allow you to create and protect objects from future changes. Each method has its own differences. We have set up code with a parent object containing properties and methods as an example. The child object inherits from the parent object and can access its properties and methods. These methods are effective in maintaining object integrity and preventing alterations.

Freezing is the process that causes a substance to change from a liquid to a solid. Freezing occurs when the molecules of a liquid slow down enough that their attractions cause them to arrange themselves into fixed positions as a solid.
Freezing an object does not allow new properties to be added to the object and prevents removing or altering the existing properties. Object. freeze() preserves the enumerability, configurability, writability, and prototype of the object. It returns the passed object and does not create a frozen copy.
A Freezable provides a Changed event to notify observers of any modifications to the object. Freezing a Freezable can improve its performance, because it no longer needs to spend resources on change notifications. A frozen Freezable can also be shared across threads, while an unfrozen Freezable cannot.
freeze() method, you cant unfreeze it. Freezing an object is the ultimate solution. There is no way to reverse this. Once some object has been frozen it cant be unfrozen, or modified in any way.
The Object.freeze() method freezes an object. Freezing an object prevents extensions and makes existing properties non-writable and non-configurable.
freeze() Method. The Object. freeze() method freezes an object that prevents new properties from being added to it. This method prevents the modification of existing property, attributes, and values.
The only practical use for Object. freeze is during development. For production code, there is absolutely no benefit for freezing/sealing objects. In strict mode, this would throw an error if myObject was frozen.
There is no way to do this, once an object has been frozen there is no way to unfreeze it. This is technically correct as far as mutating the existing object. However, you can copy/clone the existing object and mutate its properties now.
Object. freeze() is used for freezing objects and arrays. Object. freeze() is used to make an object immutable.
freeze() , new changes have no effect on the frozen object. However, the seal() method allows modifying existing properties. This means that while you cannot add new properties or remove existing ones, you can make changes.
