hello everybody hold several drinks here it is October the 13th Thursday afternoon and Im gonna talk a little bit about photo papers and this is the subject that it always gets asked and it is so subjective that really theres no perfect answer to any of these questions as to what paper should I use for landscapes what paper should I use for portraiture and so on theres simply no answer is whatever paper you happen to like and the best way to experiment is to buy so-called sample packs and a while back actually quite a while back I was able to find on eBay through adorama.com sample packs for papers from impress impress and they produce some very good papers and I was able to get I think it was two of each in a sample pack for five bucks okay so we have one two three four five six seven papers so 14 sheets of paper included in one pack and this is considered their fine art sample pack and it includes a metallic glossy they warm tone 300 gram paper impress rag which is also 300 grams

How to reduce photo file size on a Windows PC Once youve located the image you wish to compress, open the photo in Photos. Select the option on the top right-hand side of the Photos Window. Select Resize to enable a pop-up menu. Select a size. Name your photo in the File Name field.
Start by choosing File and then Print, and clicking the Position and Size settings. Usually, the default option is Scale to Fit Media, which prints to the page margins. Deselect it, then manually enter scale, height and width values that equal the full size of your paper. Click Print to print your image.
Most printers have options such as Fit to Printable Area or Fit to Printer Margins, which will automatically resize a document to the printer margins of a particular printer. Some programs such as Microsoft Word will also automatically detect the printer margins of a particular printer.
Just to try to keep it simple: Fit to page: fits the print in the printable area defined by the driver (the printable area is shown over the live view preview). Fit to paper: fits the print to the full physical paper size, cropping off any non printable margins defined by the driver.
