hello Im Jessica an e-learning specialist and Im here to show you how to fill table cells using Microsoft Word and go under insert table and just sort of choose how many cells you think your table might need to be and then just click in the cell and start to type fill them all in if you are interested in I think adding some color to your table under table tools is the option for shading so whichever once I have highlighted its gonna change those colors those fill colors and thats it thats how you use a table make it pretty type inside and use some fill colors thanks for watching

Specify text direction in a shape, text box, or table cell Enter the text in the shape or text box or table cell, and then select the text. Ctrl+Click the selected text, and then select Format Shape. On the Text Box tab in the dialog box, choose a direction from the Text Direction box.
Select the cells in which you want to apply a fill effect as the fill color. On the Tables tab, under Table Styles, click the arrow next to Fill. On the Fill menu, click Fill Effects. Click the Solid tab, and then click the color that you want.
In Table Tools click the [Layout] tab locate the Cell Size group and choose from of the following options: To fit the columns to the text (or page margins if cells are empty), click [AutoFit] select AutoFit Contents. To fit the table to the text, click [AutoFit] select AutoFit Window.
To use the Design tab to add any color to a table: Highlight the table cells to which you want to apply the background color. Select the Design tab. In the Page Background group, select Page Borders. Select the Shading tab. Select the Fill drop-down arrow, then choose a color from the color chart.
Add shading to a table Select the cells you want to change. On the Table Tools Design tab (the Table Tools Layout tab in OneNote), click the Shading menu. Under Theme Colors or Standard Colors, select the shading color you want.
Click the shape or text box that you want to add a fill to. To add the same fill to multiple shapes or text boxes, click the first one, and then press and hold SHIFT while you click the others. To add or change a fill color, click the color that you want, or to choose no color, click No Fill.
In the first cell of the table, type 1, press the TAB key to move the cursor to the second cell, and then type 2. Set the entire table as a cell block and then click Insert Fill Table AutoFill. The empty cells beginning from the third cell, are automatically filled with a sequence of numbers ranging from 3 to 25.
