Keep the footer at the bottom by using Flexbox Make sure that you are wrapping everything in a or any other block-level element with the following CSS styles: min-height:100vh; display:flex; flex-direction:column; justify-content:space-between; .
Things like privacy statements or instructions for saving the forms progress appear on many forms. The form Footer also commonly contains content like privacy statements, copyright, and how to contact. Another use for the form Footer is to display links to other pages or forms, which would also appear on every page.
Click the up or down arrow next to the Bottom field, under the heading Margins, or type a new value in this field. Setting a higher value will raise the height of the entire footer section; setting a lower value will lower the top edge of the bottom margin or footer.
Form Footer The Form Object links directly to tables and queries and provides that data for the form to display. The Form Detail section is the area that data is displayed and interacted with. Here we can place textboxes, check boxes, combo boxes, labels, pictures and other data editing controls.
In the html template find the tags at the beginning of the formatted text (e.g. or ). If they contain a string like style=font-family:Arial; font-size: 12px, you just need to change the value next to the font-size. If there is no such string in the tag, add it. The size units are px - pixels or pt - points.
If you want to keep the footer at the bottom of the text (sticky footer), but keep it from always staying at the bottom of the screen, you can use: position: relative; (keeps the footer in relation to the content of the page, not the view port) and clear: both; (will keep the footer from riding up on other content).
Set margin on the footer. Because you set the Body the footers parent element to Flex, you can set the top margin on the footer element to Auto. This makes the footer push away from the content above, causing the footer to stick to the bottom of the page.
In header/footer edit mode, hover your mouse pointer over the bottom/Top margin of the Header / Footer until it turns into the 2 headed arrow. Then you can click and drag the margin up/down.
The reason your footer is only halfway down the page with position: absolute is that you havent set a min-height on the body and html elements. Without that, the body only takes up as much space as you have content for it -- and then the footer is aligned with that bottom, not the bottom of the window.
By default, the header or footer appears on the left side of the printed form. To center text in the header or footer, you must enclose that text with the b variable. On the View menu, click Header and Footer. Click the Print Settings tab.
