Select the Info button from the drop-down menu. On the info page, click on the Protect Workbook box. Select the Encrypt with Password button from the drop-down menu. Delete the password from the pop-up window that appears so the text box is blank.
If you do not know the password, upload the document to the LostMyPass and start the password recovery process. After it is successful, you will receive the document password, and then you can open it and remove the password protection yourself.
Open the workbook that you want to change or remove the password for. On the Review tab, click Protect Sheet or Protect Workbook. Click Unprotect Sheet or Protect Workbook and enter the password. Clicking Unprotect Sheet automatically removes the password from the sheet.
How to unprotect Excel sheet with password Right-click the sheet tab, and select Unprotect Sheet from the context menu. On the Review tab, in the Changes group, click Unprotect Sheet. On the Home tab, in the Cells group, click Format, and select Unprotect Sheet from the drop-down menu.
Click the File menu, and then click Passwords. In the File Passwords dialog box, select the Read-only recommended check box, and click OK. Close the workbook. The next time the workbook is opened, a message will ask if you want to open as read-only.
To do this, select the cells you want to lock and hide, and go to Home Format Format Cells Protection. Check the Locked and Hidden boxes and click OK. Then, go to Review Protect Sheet and enter a password.
How to Unlock Protected Excel Sheets Without a Password Change the Extension Type to a Zip File. Open the Zip File. Open the Protected Sheet in Notepad. Remove the Protection HTML Code. Add the Edited Sheet to the Zip File. Change the Extension Type to an Excel File. Verify the Sheet is Unlocked.
Click the field where you want to add the input mask. Under Field Properties, on the General tab, click the Input Mask property box. to start the Input Mask Wizard. In the Input Mask list, select the type of mask that you want to add.
