hello welcome to my OpenOffice tutorial on how to customize your heading styles today were going to be working in OpenOffice writer No if you notice this is a Times New Roman and font size number 12 but now Im going to say it go over here and click on heading 1 now you see it has changed to Arial black and the font size is 16 point 1 now what if you know wasnt happy with this style and you have a very long document and you have all your chapters is in heading number 1 well you can customize your heading number one and it would affect all the chapters that is already customized with that style so what we do here we go to styles and formatting to get this up you can either click here and go down to lower or you can press the f11 key now if youre going to customize heading number one you just right click on it and then go to modify and its very simple all you then have to do is say you wanted to change this to say Times New Roman you say Times New Roman and check your typeface I bel
